The DES-1005D, 5-port Palm-size 10/100Mbps NWay Ethernet switch presents an outstanding choice for small workgroups. The DES-1005D allows users to simply plug any port to either a 10Mbps or 100Mbps network to multiply bandwidth, boost response time and satisfy heavy load demands.
5 NWay Ports Designed for small workgroups, the switch provides 5 or 8 ports for ready connection. It is compact and suitable for installation in tight desktop space.
NWay Flexibility The switch's NWay ports automatically negotiate between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network speeds, as well as between full and half-duplex modes. Any port thus can act ad an uplink to Fast Ethernet or downlink to Ethernet.
Desktop Power The palm sized DES-1005D is convenient and can fit on virtually ant desktop. As a palm switch the DES-1005D are set up for direct connection from users creating a separate domain for each workstation attached.
