ZEROtherm’s flagship coolers the BTF90 and BTF80 are virtually identical with the only obvious difference being the material they are manufactured from. The BTF90 is full copper and the BTF80 is all aluminium. If you want the best performance then the full copper version would be ideal, but if you are concerned about the weight then the aluminium version would be recommended. Apart from weight, the difference in material also affects performance. The full copper heatsink can cope with CPU that generate up to 150W, whereas the aluminium version can handle up to 120W CPUs. This means both coolers will cope with the vast majority of CPUs available, especially Intel’s Core 2 Duo CPUs.
